Abstract
Beta-NMR will be used to determine how dynamics in polystyrene thin films varies with depth, temperature and molecular weight. Measurements will be performed to confirm enthalpy-entropy compensation both near the free surface and in the bulk. A highly monodisperse low molecular weight sample with bulk Tg ~ 300 K will be studied to determine how Tg varies with depth.
