Abstract
The quest for a real material system of quantum spin liquid has been a major pursuit in condensed-matter physics. Here we propose to investigate the spin liquid state in a kagome Ising antiferromagnet Co3Mg(OH)6Cl2, which is the first real material system of a perfect kagome lattice for Ising spins.
