Abstract

Even though uranium-based compounds exhibit many exotic properties, the understanding of these materials is still lacking. Our interest lies in examining compounds with high uranium coordination number, in which we will study how the heavy fermion behavior is affected by disorder, changes in electron concentration and lattice dimensions. muSR provides an exceptionally versatile probe to characterize these interesting materials.
