We propose a µSR study of the heavier congener of cyclobutane-1,3-diyl that exhibits tolerance in air and considerable electron-donating property leading to the p-type semiconducting behavior. We preliminarily determined the requisite crystal structures for carrier transfer through the biradical frameworks, which might relate to the hfc parameters. Besides the biradicals, the bulky polyalkylated benzene derivatives are examined because the aromatic structure is important to the p-type semiconducting characteristics.
